Dialogues aux abords de la 323  showcases the artist’s initial steps towards using the camera as a tool for image transformation. Retracing a visit to the countryside, an entire roll of film is shot, immediately rewound and reshot. Randomly, frames interlace, places and objects merge together creating new scenes. The linear nature of the roll of film mirrors the linearity of time. However, the narrative portrayed on film is altered when the shots are superimposed. This rewriting opens up a dialogue on the notions of time, space and recollection, bringing to light a collection of fragmented memories.
