The creation of hybrid images is a genuine melting-pot of several disciplines. Here, photography, print media, drawing, sculpture, installation and staging intertwine. Occasionally, photography can serve as a springboard for the creation of print media. Other times, the printed image can be transformed into a three-dimensional object for purposes of installation or staging. A variety of other printing techniques, such as the creation of images by ink deposits and imprints, are also included in this hybrid approach.
